Assigning a New Tutor Lead

What to look for in a new tutor lead:

• Someone established in your committee (volunteer management preferable) or community 

• A friendly tutor who has the GPN sparkle and is socially charismatic

• Someone who can attend most/all events and practise parties

• Enthusiasm for GPN which includes:

  • Attending several events

  • Offers to lead morning jobs, or rooms and to help generally

  • Proactive with feedback or ideas for event and content

  • Proactive in solving problems /or finding a leader to help at an event

  • Volunteers for additional work on the day or outside the event

  • Promotes GPN on their socials and invites friends

  • Passionate and engaging with students and tutors throughout the event 

  • Engaging in Computerless Games/Mentor Hangz

  • Passionate for coding or teaching

  • Going the extra mile e.g. making GPN earrings
