There are a few different jobs that we pay people to do for GPN. These range from admin tasks, node liaisons to help us scale, content work to social media. If you’re going to be doing a paid job for us then you should have a contract that describes how your payment work (e.g. paid by the hour or paid per work item complete) and how much you will be paid. Because those details are quite different between contracts, it won’t be described here so if you have any questions about that, reach out to the GPN Executive or whoever you are working with on your contract. *Note before you can do any of this you will need an Australian Business Number (ABN). We have instructions for how to get one here*
Use this template to create an invoice for the work that you’ve done: Invoice Template
Make sure you update the date and all the red text to be correct for your work and contract.
Submit your invoice via this portal: https://techinclusion.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/1/create/23
You will need to make an account to use the portal. If you already have an Atlassian account you can use that, or you can make one with your GPN email address, or with your personal address.
You will need to fill out the following information:
Invoice code - this should be your name and the date of the invoice so that it’s unique. E.g. Alex Penna 30/03/2025
The invoice document (preferably as a PDF)
The portal will create a request for the GPN Executive to process. These are typically processed every Monday, but if you need your payment expedited for any reason, you can reach out to the GPN Executive.
The details will be double checked, and if there’s a mistake or missing info you’ll get an email asking for clarification.
You may get a confirmation message from the GPN executive, either via Teams or email, once your request has been processed, especially if this is the first couple of times you’re submitting an invoice, just to double check that everything is working correctly. Depending on the amount of money being transferred and whether you have been paid by GPN before, it can take a few days for the payment to arrive in your bank account.
